I was a bit nervous about my rough draft because I didn’t create an outline to help organize my points. I didn’t feel confident with what I had for my original post, I felt like it was somewhat unorganized with the information being introduced in one area then expanded on two paragraphs later. I received some incredibly useful feedback from my partner in this assignment about how I was setting up my paper to biased towards one side. Originally, I was just talking about why smart phones and other devices were bad for you. Instead of only rambling on about only the harmful affects I should talk about some of the other benefits of devices. Giving feedback was something I was also nervous about. If I was going to give advice I wanted to be sure that it was useful. I found myself reading the draft over about 3 times so I could get a clear understanding on the paper’s topic. The challenging part was if I was making a mistake in my observation or if it was worth including. In the end, I hope that the feedback that I gave was useful in improving another person’s paper.
